ReGen Villages, made known by James Erlich was introduced to the Netherlands in 2015 by the Dutch consul in California USA. The first ReGen Village was to be realized in Oosterwold, Almere. The team of DGV Group has transformed the idea's into a plan that can be realized. In cooperation with Except Integrated Sustainability a masterplan is developed which has been approved by the municipality of Almere.

ReGen Villages is a high end, technology driven autarkic neighborhood in which water is regenerated, sustainable energy is harvested and balanced, food is produced locally and biological waste is used in a circular way. The system is managed via a local smart grid with machine learning algorithms that provide for continuous optimization.
